Another Party!

On Sunday we had another little get together with some friends and little Mr Man was definitely more on top of his game. His eye contact is coming along and he was proving that this day...which was great.

We made another strawberry shortcake since the last one was so yummy and this time Alistair actually laid eyes on the cake. I stuck a bit of whip cream in his mouth and that was that.

We all enjoyed celebrating with a few friends and family.

And Alistair got a bunch of belly rubs from Uncle George!

The Blog & I

I started this blog way back when I first found out at 16 weeks gestation that my son had his heart on the wrong side of his body which was later diagnosed as a congenital diaphragmatic hernia. I found that I was having to repeat the same story over and over again to friends and family on the phone and got to dread the phone calls. So by having this blog everyone was kept up to date on the scoop of life and then when I did have a good chat it was above and beyond the basics of our life along with chatting to them about theres. It worked brilliantly. Now I just keep it up as its a fun way to keep family and friends in touch and it also allows me to look back and see how far Alistair and I have come!
