Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful feast this evening with a bunch of close friends and family. There is nothing like sharing a meal, a laugh and great conversation around ones own table. I think that is something we've lost in todays society.

Just a gorgeous time of year. I hope you're all able to get out and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us these days. This is up at my friends farm and the place is just golden.

What a great piece of equipment! Alistair looks so much older since the last time I seen him. Enjoy your little cuddle bug! My girls never fall asleep on me. I miss the cuddles. Happy Thanksgiving!

The Blog & I

I started this blog way back when I first found out at 16 weeks gestation that my son had his heart on the wrong side of his body which was later diagnosed as a congenital diaphragmatic hernia. I found that I was having to repeat the same story over and over again to friends and family on the phone and got to dread the phone calls. So by having this blog everyone was kept up to date on the scoop of life and then when I did have a good chat it was above and beyond the basics of our life along with chatting to them about theres. It worked brilliantly. Now I just keep it up as its a fun way to keep family and friends in touch and it also allows me to look back and see how far Alistair and I have come!
