This week I've been celebrating the life of a beautiful little girl who sadly died on November 1st. Her mother Kelly and I had met via my blog prior to Erin's birth. Kelly knew that in utero her daughter had the same anomaly as Alistair ie a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. So we got in touch due to this fact and quickly became friends. From her CDH Erin was sadly given a set of lungs that would cause her to struggle to breath throughout her 19 month of life.
Kelly wrote this lovely little post of her daughter:
"Erin was born March 18, 2011, with a condition called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia which came with complications which in the end took her life way too soon. She was so happy despite being hooked up to oxygen tubing and a feeding pump her whole life. She LOVED her family and lit up like a light bulb at the sight or mention of her sister and brothers. Oh how she loved them so much! We will miss her more than words could ever express...:( Our little angel touched so many lives in ways we may never know. She was never meant to even make it past birth but God had other plans for her and gave us 19mos with her which we will cherish for all eternity. Until we meet again in Heaven Erin, run and play like you never could here on earth. We love you sooooo much!! ♥ ♥"

I will never forget this beautiful vibrant little girl who made such a wonderful impact on so many in her short yet beautiful life. Rest in Peace Erin
Thank you for mentioning Erin Julie...<3 So glad you got to visit with her not too long before she died! My beautiful little girl, who we loved so very much...we miss her! She was a blessing to so many people, most of whom didn't even get to see her in person...what a life she had even though it was too short for my liking. God had other plans...now He has her with HIM in Heaven and she is healthy and free of tubes! Lucky her!! <3
